olá! Nunca pintei com fosco então não sei como é trabalhar com ele… O problema do fosco é q ele suja muito fácil e a parede logo ficará marcada.. eu particularmente prefiro o acetinado pois não é tão brilhoso quanto o semi brilho….

Sim, normalmente se faz isso para dar mais economia, passa-se a primeira demão de fosco e as outras duas de semi-brilho, porém o acabamento fica semi-brilho.

Acho que as tintas dependem mais de gosto do que qualquer outra coisa!
Eu já usei as três e vou te dizer o que acho:
Eu prefiro o efeito da fosca, mas em paredes acho que "enfeia" muito rápido, porque a limpeza é muito difícil.
A acetinada, é pra ser mais fácil de limpar, mas pra mim o resultado foi o mesmo da fosca, ou seja, difícil de manter.
A semibrilho foi a que vi a maio facilidade de manter limpa. Se sujar é só passar um pano úmido ( ou se for sujeira profunda pano úmido com saponáceo cremoso).
Na minha casa utilizei semibrilho nas paredes por causa da facilidade com que se sujam, e fosca no teto onde suja menos.

Mas aí vai muito de gosto.
