Se você, como eu, gostaria de ter um destes cestos de fibra bem lindos porém achava muito caro, seus problemas acabaram: neste post eu vou te ensinar a FAZER um cesto organizador feita de corda! Tudo bem, não é fibra, é corda, mas é parecido e o resultado fica lindo! E não é difícil, viu.

Como falei no vídeo de tour pelo quarto, eu queria trocar as caixas que temos no closet onde guardamos meias e roupa íntima. Porém, os cestos como eu queria são muito caros e geralmente menores do que eu preciso. Eu fiz uma rápida pesquisa na internet e olha só os valores e modelos que encontrei:

Eu queria muito este estilo de cesto mas desisti, estava quase optando por aquelas caixas organizadores de plástico horríveis. Mas, vi este DIY no canal da Viviane Merlim e meu mundo mudou! Agora chega de papo e vamos ao passo a passo:

Materiais básicos:

– Estilete
– Tesoura
– Régua
– Trema
– Caneta
– Fita larga / crepe
 

Materiais para a caixa:

– Caixa de papelão (aquelas de mercado mesmo)
– Cola quente
– Corda de sisal de 6mm (foi a que eu usei, você pode escolher outra se quiser)

Materiais para o forro:

– Tecido à sua escolha (eu peguei uma manta velha que tinha em casa)
– Cola para tecido (neste caso, a cola para tecido não colou o MEU tecido, pois ele é tecido de rede, mais grosso. Usei uma cola para artesanato e deu certo. No seu caso, se for tecido comum, a cola dará certo.
 

Passo 1: preparar a caixa

A caixa que usei já estava um pouco amassada nas laterais e e com algumas imperfeições que dificultariam a colagem da corda. Então eu abri a caixa e montei ela ao contrário, com a parte de dentro (que estava intacta) para fora e usei bastante fita larga e crepe para fechá-la. Se sua caixa for bem reforçada, não é necessário fazer isto.

Após, corte as “abas” da caixa que sobram com o estilete. Depois de cortar estas “abas”, eu passei fita crepe ao redor de toda ela para dar um melhor acabamento.

Passo 2: colar a corda

Aqui não tem mistério mas sim paciência: comece a colar a ponta da corda em algum canto da caixa e vá aplicando alguns pingos de cola quente, não é necessário passar cola quente em toda a corda, é muito desperdício. Vá dando a volta na caixa com a corda até finalizar em cima.

O tamanho da corda varia de acordo com o tamanho de sua caixa. A minha caixa tem 35 x 25 x 25cm e eu usei 28mt de corda. Na verdade usei 12mt daí faltou e comprei mais, porém a emenda fica invisível, olha só:

Passo 3: fazer o forro

Esta parte é a mais chatinha pois eu sou muito LOSER na hora de lidar com tecidos e medidas. Vou deixar o link do tutorial que me inspirou para fazer este cesto pois no vídeo tem maiores explicações sobre o forro. Fiz exatamente igual ao que ela fez no vídeo, a única dica que dou para fazer diferente é: faça o acabamento da “bainha” antes de colar as laterais e finalizar o forro, conforme a foto abaixo:

Pois fazendo este acabamento antes fica mais fácil fechar e juntar cada lateral.

Agora vamos aos passos, fiz um esquema em desenho para exemplificar:

1) Coloque a caixa no meio do tecido fazendo com que o tecido fique 10cm maior que a caixa na altura em cada lateral. Ou seja: você vai colocar a caixa no centro, “tombar” ela para cada lado e ainda por cima precisa sobrar 10cm a mais.
2) Marque o espaço da caixa e na diagonal marque um risco de 3cm em cada diagonal.
3) A partir destes 3cm corte o excesso de tecido, formando quadros nas laterais do tecido. Ou seja: ficará o formato de uma cruz.
4) Neste momento faça a “bainha” como falei: dobre uma pedaço do tecido aproximadamente do tamanho de um dedo e cole com cola.
5) Agora você irá juntar as laterais, bordinha com bordinha, usando a cola e formando tipo um saco. Mas lembre-se de fazer a bainha antes, no exemplo abaixo eu não havia feito ainda.

E, depois de finalizado, é só colocar dentro do cesto e dobrar as bordinhas pra fora! Você pode deixar a bordinha bem estreita ou mais larga, como você preferir. O forro ficou um pouco soltinho mas gostei assim. Se você quiser fazer mais justo pode mexer nas medidas ou então passar uma cordinha e dar um nó, fica fofo também.
